Working principle of filter element of screw air compressor

    The air compressed from the end of the main machine of the screw air compressor carries oil drops of different sizes. The large oil drops are separated from the tank of the oil-gas separation filter element, while the small oil drops (suspended) must be filtered through the micron glass fiber filter material of the oil-gas separation filter element (so the correct selection of glass fiber diameter and thickness is an important factor to ensure the filtering effect). After the oil mist is intercepted, diffused and polymerized by the filter material, the small oil drops quickly gather into large oil drops, which pass through the filter layer and settle at the bottom of the filter element under the action of aerodynamics and gravity. The oil is continuously returned to the lubrication system through the inlet of the oil return pipe at the bottom recess of the filter element, so that the air compressor can discharge relatively pure and high-quality compressed air.
