What are the precautions when using the frequency converter in the frequency conversion air compress

Precautions for the use of frequency converter for  air compressor spare parts are as follows:

1. carefully read the product manual of the air compressor before installation and use, and correctly connect, install and use it according to the requirements of the manual

2. when the motor is running at low speed, due to the low speed of the motor blades, attention should be paid to ventilation and cooling and appropriate load reduction to avoid the motor temperature rise exceeding the allowable value.

3. do not install too large capacitors at the incoming line side because of the need to improve the power factor, or install capacitors between the motor and the frequency converter, otherwise the line impedance will be reduced and excessive current will be generated to damage the frequency converter.

4. it is generally not suitable to install AC contactor between frequency converter and motor of air compressor to avoid over-voltage between currents and damage to frequency converter.

5. the control terminal of the frequency converter is used to regulate the start and stop of the motor, and the circuit breaker and contactor cannot be used for direct operation, otherwise the frequency converter will be out of control and may cause serious consequences

6. the outlet side of the frequency converter shall not be connected in parallel with the compensation capacitor, nor shall the capacitor be connected in parallel to reduce the high-order wave of the output voltage of the frequency converter, otherwise the frequency converter may be damaged.

7. when the motor has only brake, the frequency converter shall work in the free shutdown mode, and the braking signal shall be sent after the frequency converter sends the stop command.
