1、 Before starting the machine

 

1. Check whether all moving parts are flexible, whether all connecting parts are tight, whether the lubrication system is normal, and whether the motor and electrical control equipment are safe and reliable.

 

2. Before operating the air compressor, check whether the protective devices and safety accessories are intact and complete.

 

3. Connect the water source and open each inlet valve to ensure smooth cooling water flow.

 

4. Check if the exhaust pipeline is unobstructed.

 

5. Check the oil level in the oil injector, the oil level should not be lower than the mark value, and the lubricating oil in the oil pool should be within the range of the scale.

 

6. Operators are not allowed to wear loose fitting clothes, ties, and jewelry (long hair requires a safety helmet). Female workers should wear work helmets, and must tie the cuffs, straighten the corners, and button up the clothes before operation.

 

2、 During operation

 

1. Ensure that the air compressor is started without load, and after the no-load operation is normal, gradually put the air compressor into load operation.

 

2. After normal operation, attention should be paid to various instrument readings and adjustments should be made at any time. Check whether the temperature of the motor is normal, whether the operating sound of each component is normal, whether the suction valve cover is hot, and whether the sound of the suction valve is normal.

 

3. After 2 hours of operation of the air compressor, the oil and water in the oil separator, intercooler, and aftercooler need to be discharged once, and the oil and water in the air storage barrel need to be discharged once per shift.

 

4. When operating the air compressor, it should be noted that after long-term shutdown, before starting for the first time, the engine must be turned and checked for any signs of impact, jamming, or abnormal noise.

 

3、 After the operation is completed

 

After completing the operation, immediately press the stop button, wait for the indicator light to turn off and cut off the power supply. Note that the operator must wait for the machine to completely stop before leaving.

 

4、 Emergency situation

 

1. When lubricating oil or cooling water is interrupted during the operation of the air compressor, the water temperature suddenly rises or drops, the exhaust pressure suddenly rises, the safety valve malfunctions, and other situations are found, the machine should be immediately stopped, the cause should be identified, and the problem should be eliminated.

 

2. Once an equipment safety accident occurs, the power should be immediately cut off and on-site rescue should be carried out. At the same time, the accident site should be protected and reported to the higher authorities immediately.
