Reasons for high exhaust temperature of screw air compressor
The reasons for the high exhaust temperature of screw air compressors : 1. High return air temperature; 2. The motor has a large heating capacity; 3. High compression ratio; 4. High condensation pressure; 5. Improper selection of refrigerant. The screw air compressor has a dedicated PLC controller that can display the operating status, common faults such as operating temperature, pressure, current, and voltage.
High exhaust temperature is a common fault in high-altitude compressors, especially in summer. Due to the influence of environmental temperature, the operating temperature of the air compressor increases accordingly. Generally, the upper limit of exhaust temperature for domestic micro oil twin-screw/single screw air compressors is 105 ° C to 110 ° C, and the upper limit of exhaust temperature for imported micro oil twin-screw air compressors is 120 ° C to 130 ° C, and the upper limit of exhaust temperature for domestic and imported oil-free dry screw machines is 260 ° C. At present, the commonly used domestically is a micro oil twin-screw air compressor, with a normal temperature range of 80 ° C to 92 ° C. When the air compressor runs to 100 ° C/105 ° C, it gives a high temperature warning. When the temperature reaches 105 ° C/110 ° C, the air compressor malfunctions and stops, displaying high exhaust temperature.
The summary is as follows: 1. Blockage of the radiator leads to poor heat dissipation, resulting in high temperature shutdown; 2. Insufficient or deteriorated screw oil/coolant leads to high temperature shutdown; 3. Blockage of the oil filter and insufficient oil supply lead to high temperature shutdown; 4. Failure of the temperature control valve and insufficient oil supply lead to high temperature shutdown; 5. Temperature sensor malfunction, incorrect temperature display, high temperature shutdown; 6. Incorrect signal reception by the PLC leading to high temperature shutdown; 7. Environmental temperature greater than 40 ° C; C8. Blockage of the door panel filter screen, resulting in low air intake; 9. Fan malfunction, not working or reversing.
