The reason for inspection is that after a long period of operation, the end faces of the rotating ring and stationary ring of the air compressor's mechanical seal will wear out due to prolonged friction, the spring and the sleeve will rust and be damaged, and the sealing ring age and deform, losing its elasticity. All these reasons will cause the mechanical seal to leak, which will affect the normal operation of the air compressor; therefore, is very necessary to inspect the mechanical seal. It should be noted that after the mechanical seal components are repaired, they need to be reassembled, and after, they need to undergo a pressure test before they can be put back into normal operation.
