Air compressor air tank
Piston air compressors generally come with their own air storage tanks, so there is no need to configure an air storage tank whereas oil-free screw air compressors need to be equipped with an air storage tank, and the normal operation of oil-free screw air compressors cannot be separated from the storage tank.
The oil-free screw air compressor is responsible for compressing the air, and the air storage tank is used to store the compressed air, and it can buffer and reduce pressure, stabilize the pressure of the air compressor system, and when configuring and using the air storage tank, the following issues should be noted.
1. choosing the size of the air storage tank, it is necessary to choose according to the exhaust volume and pressure of the air compressor. According to the exhaust volume of the compressor, the size of the air storage tank is 20% ~ 30% of the exhaust volume of the air compressor, and the pressure of the storage tank needs to be greater than the pressure of the air compressor;
2. The air storage tank must ensure its tightness, and if it is collided during transportation it needs to be re-inspected before it can be used;
3. The working environment of the air compressor and the air storage tank needs to be ventilated and;
4. It is necessary to regularly check the cleanliness inside the air storage tank to avoid the accumulation of pollutants inside the tank affecting the quality of the compressed air;
5. When the air compressed by the air compressor enters the air storage tank, it is necessary to pay attention to the maximum pressure of the air storage tank, and it necessary to check the air pressure of the air compressor to avoid the pressure inside the air storage tank being too large, causing safety accidents such as rupture and explosion;
6 Regularly check the tightness of the air pipeline and the air storage tank to avoid insufficient exhaust from the air compressor and leakage of the air storage tank due to leakage
