Causes of oil leakage of air compressor
The causes of oil leakage of air compressor include excessive wear, aging, deterioration, deformation and failure of sealing materials after long-term use; too much lubricating oil or inconsistent oil; air compressor accessories combined with surface deflection and deformation, shell damage, resulting in leakage of lubricating oil; after ventilation plug and one-way valve are blocked, due to the effect of air pressure difference inside and outside the box shell, oil leakage occurs at the weak part of the seal.
Maintenance method of air compressor oil leakage: correctly install the gasket; correctly fasten the nut. Loose nuts will cause leakage due to not tightening the gasket, and over tightening will cause metal bulge around the screw hole, or screw the screw thread to slip, causing oil leakage. Replace the failed oil seal in time. Air compressor is which many parts of the oil seal due to improper installation, resulting in journal and oil seal edge is not concentric and throw oil. Some oil seals lose elasticity due to rubber aging after being used for a long time.
Avoid one-way valve, ventilation valve blocked. If the one-way valve and the vent valve are blocked, the temperature in the case will rise, the oil and gas will fill the whole space, the pressure in the case will rise, the movement resistance of the piston will increase, and the fuel consumption will increase. At the same time, due to the effect of the air pressure difference between the inside and outside of the case, the seal will be weak and the oil will leak.
Ensure the sealing of all kinds of tubing joints. The coupling nut used in construction machinery is easy to be loosened due to broken thread due to frequent disassembly and assembly. For example, the poor accuracy of two joint flares, the non coincidence of two hammer surface centerlines or the different hammer surface will cause oil leakage. The hammer face seal can be repaired by grinding, so that the nut can be compressed and sealed reliably.
