What kinds of lubrication methods are used for air compressor?
According to the structural characteristics of the air compressor, different lubrication methods can be adopted, including the following methods:
1. Pressure lubrication method: first of all, the machine (such as oil pump, oiler) will automatically use the pressure of lubricating oil to lubricate all parts, which is also called pressure lubrication method. It is mainly used in large and medium air compressors with crosshead.
2. Splash lubrication method: because the oil rod installed on the connecting rod will splash the oil to all lubricating parts for lubrication, the cylinder and the motion unit can only use the same kind of lubricating oil. This method is mostly used in small air compressor without crosshead. The disadvantage is that the oil is not well filtered and the oil level must be strictly controlled.
3. Drip lubrication method: use the oil cup and output pipeline to send the lubricating oil to the unit parts that should be refueled, or fill the lubricating oil with the oil pot on time.
4. Oil ring lubrication method: the rotating shaft is used to drive the oil ring on the shaft. The operation of the oil ring will smoothly bring the oil in the oil pool into the bearing and enter the circulating lubrication.
5. Injection lubrication method: the injected oil mist will follow the gas to enter the cylinder and other lubrication destinations, such as ultra-high pressure air compressor, sliding vane air compressor and screw air compressor.
